Default More bB Toys!

Went looking for the elusive green Matchbox box today...nada. Did find two more orange, but...

These were at the local Walgreens. Die cast, 5" long x 2" tall, pull back to wind spring, doors open! Kinsmart, made in China so do not eat the paint! There were these colors available, but no PW. I plan to paint the second silver one PW.

If anyone cares, there were (3) more yellow and (1) more blue one left @$3.99. I can buy it and send it your way for exact costs.

Check it; all are bB/right hand steering as badged except the blue which is left hand/US steering and badged as a Scion xB!

Nice deal, cargo covers installed, just in time for Christmas! Happy Hunting!

Went back today to look again. I bought another blue and yellow one. Those two I now have now as bB and xB.

I did a search of eBay and found the xBs selling for $16.95+$10 shipping. Wow, less than retail @$3.99 each and one of every color! Not sure if the xB or the bB variants are the more rare of the two. Those OD look hot! May have to do a set of those.

Will post up when my PW is done. Hmm, wish there was a USDM one for me to paint. This one is a bB/left hand steering. Oh well, wonder who will notice??

Is there an online store (not ebay) that has these for a decent price? The nearest walgreens (20 miles away) didn't have them when I called. Are they located by the hotwheels? If not, where in the store?

The eBay price is about the same as buying directly. I paid around $25 for the six cars, IIRC. Plus it comes with a PW. Not sure if you are looking for a full set or just specific colors.

They were in the same aisle as the toys/cars. It is an acrylic display, stands in the middle of the aisle about 4 feet high and 18" square. Had 4 or 5 shelves with all kinds of die casts on it.

I was disappointed to see such a wimpy car selection there and turned around just to make sure I wasn't missing another row when I saw these.

Closest is 20 miles away...whoa. Not sure if there are other Walgreens around me, but I will check.

Walgreens, Eckerds, or whatever typically has a stand alone turnstyle display with 5-6 shelves housing 1:32 scale various cars. These also have a pull back action motor. I tend to see this display at the front of the store near the register, not in the aisle with the other toys.

Seeing as there aren't many scion owners near me I'll just check them out next time i'm out there. Wasn't really planning on getting more xB stuff but these look really cool.
I'm gonna measure my Maisto ones and see how they compare in size. It seems real colse to the size of my cardboard RS1 that came in a scion brochure. It measures 4"s long and 1.75"s tall

bB2NER;
So a store locator showed a different store 5 minutes away. Just returned, completely different layout, no display at all. Looked everywhere. I even asked the manager where it was. No go. This store was a little tiny one. BTW, these are 1:32 scale.

hotweelz4me;
Yeah, I almost tripped on the display as it was behind me in the aisle! Odd place to put it, but makes sense to be by the toys.

virtualarson;
You are absolutely correct! Good eye! I guess by rights, the bB front seats are wrong too.

Thanks for checking Bro! I'll just get some if I ever find some.

Those colors red, yellow and blue should have been some of the real xB colors.
