Default mp3 cd

FINALLY got my xA! Picked it up at 5pm. Drove to my apartment 5 miles away. And worked like a ***** to get my rims put on w/ the jack that comes w/ it. Then screamin to my second job at Worst Buy (damn you college loans) to clock in on time by 6pm. Only a couple of stalls as a first time buyer of a standard vehicle, not bad. Only one problem w/ my xA.....

i put a data disk in it and nothing registers.... And, it won't come out. i would use a sad face here but it was my new years resolution not to use emoticons.

well anyway... it's late and i don't wanna search this forum so can somebody please give me some ideas of how to get the damn thing back cause there is no way i'm listening to the god forsaken radio!

thanks.....

they must be MP3 files, i know that if you try using Windows Media files it wont read them. Try to use itunes to rip or burn stuff.

If you have time, take it to the dealership. It's really strange that the disc won't eject. You'd think that if there was a problem, the player would spit it out immediately. Has anyone else had this problem?

EDIT:

A quick search for the terms "disc+stuck" netted some good results in this thread. From reading this over, my guess is that you used a burned CD with a label on it, no? Let us know how it turns out.

I used a burned cd w/ no label. I'm just completely stumped on how to get it out!

probably have to take it to the dealer, if they can't get it out, they'll have to replace the HU and send off the old/defective HU....then you'll have your disc back in about a month...

I agree with Sci_TC, take it to the dealer, if they aren't busy
they can swap the radio in 30 minutes including the time for
paperwork. It's worth the effort to not have to worry about this again.

Have you tried holding the eject button for 5-10-20 seconds? That might work... *shrug* Can't hurt

did you use a sticker label on the disc? Sometimes the thickness of the paper will make cd's get stuck believe it or not.
