Default My 1st Car...

Well I got my first car a few days ago, and from there I wanna just make it perfect for me. Its a Scion xB SR 2.0 #1831. So far I have added some nice Enkei 18 in. rims with pirelli tires. Then I added a small system for my music. Today I got a bumper applique added to protect the bumber and for looks, I like it for some reason. Im planning on adding an in dash dvd player and adding 2 thick black stripes down the car. This is my 1st car so its my baby. Please let me know what you think of it and give some suggestions for it.

I recommend lowering it and putting a stock TCM grill on it. I happen to know where you can get one, and I'll trade you straight up.

Awesome ride! I like the wheels and especially the black bumper aplique on the yellow box.

Max- never thought to lower it. Would I have problems with speed bumps ect.. also how low can i go without problems? Would it be doen with different springs or what? About the grill, the stock grill is nice but I like this chain style.

Thnx for the compliments..

Hey, happy for you to have such a great car for your -first car-.
Ya know this Scion xB (any color) is an instant classic. These things will hold their resale value very well. You care? Well, if you can hang onto the RS2 indefinitely it will serve you well and re-sell as a collectable car in five or more years from now.. I -dont think- it will depreciate like cars I've owned in the past. I've had a few! This one is hands-down wonderful

damn, i feel like singing (ha ha, to a famous oldy tune)

Yellow bird is so pretty and your applique is nice
and if we keep buying Scions Japanense men buy more rice

Yellow bird feathered perfect; we can almost see it fly
and if we keep lookin up there'll be Scions in the sky!

Yellow bird is ...
to be continued? Check back and... check out those rims, guys! Young dude has a groove going Scion-way. Congratulations to misnos!

==================

Saturday edit: got "your" tune pretty well perfected and extended below.
Thanks for the inputs at the solo-lyric thread.

"lemontree" is the tune. Can be found on the Internet.

laugh on cue; you'll know -where- to lose any seriousness.
the tune you just might recall only if you're an older person... is in a sort of faked carribean island-accent, mons!

Yellow bird you so pretty and your applique is nice
and if we buy more your sisters Japanese men eat more rice

Yellow bird feathered perfect we can almost see you fly
and if we keep on lookin up, up-there'll-be Scions in the sky

Yellow bird you no dodo. No, you run so very fast
and if you keep your pace will ex-tinct Echo from your past

(sing in a whisper voice)
Yellow bird you so.. softly.. soft I stroke your yellow skin
and if I keep like on this waxing I'll slip on the Box I'm in

(sing loudly now)
Yellow bird! You're my lover yes I merge myself with you
(now go soft again).
but if you are not a real bird...
(slow down the words to a crawl at the finish)
then... yel-low-sub-ma-rine will do..

so, there is the romance.
now for financial details.
we hate details... but such is life:

Oh the Tale of the Scion is a color full of joys
but if you forget the payments bank mon will take away your toy

12 + 24 + 36 = eternal seven-two
months the longer financed,, the longer
bank mon squeeze your two ***** blue

Scion man when you pay loan hope you not so very old
that your lemon's lost its color...(slowly now)
or become a box of mold

Lowering springs are available at your local Scion dealer.

Looks nice. I especially like your rims. I think they are a good match for the xB. Looks better than the black rims that a lot of people are putting on their yellow xBs.

CACK! That's crazy talk.

for less than $170 you can have a drop anywhere from 1" to 2.2". From Tein H-Techs smoothness to Tanabe's DF low down bounce.

I personally recommend Goldlines (2" drop). They can be purchased from many sellers on this site for about $160. I got mine from Bill@scionspecialties.com.
