i installed my remote start the other day and i found out how to make my manual xa only start when in was out of gear. i can help anybody out that has a stick car and want to make it full proof...

if you park in gear and leave the ebrake off, it will not start if wired properly.. you can also wire up a simple remote start kill switch, so that it wont start if you flip the switch if you park on a hill in gear or what not..

 

the wired in switch relies on you to make sure its on when it needs to be. my system is full proof, no need to flip a switch

you basically just have to put a grounding system in the shifting area. i did this to my car. pretty much, if you have the car in gear it grounds out the system so it won't start.

 

nice idea man, how long did it take to hook the grounding system up?
