My Wepon R Dragon intake keeps throwing a code
Well my box started sputtering and the indicator lights all came on so I brought it to the shop. They replaced my O2 sensor and said it was good to go. Well, I pull out of the shop and mabe get a mile down the road when it begins having the same problems. I call the service department ____ed and say they didn't fix anything, the guy comes back at me saying it's my intake. He says in order for him to even look at it I have to put my stock airbox back on, because he never sees Scions with "high performance modifications, it's like trying to find a needle in a hay stack". So I put the stock airbox on and bring it back, all he did was reset the computer and it's running fine now. I still have the stock airbox on, but I would like to put my intake back on. I'm just worried the problem is going to come back. Has anyone ever had this problem, I would appreciate some input from you guys. Thanks.
Yeah it was spotless, the maf sensor was on properly. I'm going to put it back on and make sure it has a good seal on the tb. I did recently take it off to clean the filter, so mabe it wasn't sealed well. I've had the intake for over a year with no problems.
i had the same problem with a no name ebay intake it seemed to be the pipe diameter was slightly larger than the maf sensor was able to read properly ... whne i got my injen intake i pulled the fuse to reset the computer and its been fine ever since
