Need Help!! AC Fuse Keeps Blowing
I have an '06 xB. I have blown the same fuse before, but it wasn't like this. In the past it was due to removing the cover to work on my stereo head unit and leaving the AC button pressed down. When I turned the car back on it would blow, I would fix it and it would work no problem after that. This happened I think 2 times before.
I had no problems with it for at least 6 months. Then today I try to turn it on and I realize its not working. I said no big deal, the fuse blew I'll fix it when I get home because I still had extra fuses from the last time. I put a fresh one in, AC came on no problem. Or so I thought. I turned the car off then back on and the it happened again. I went to replaced it again and as soon as I turned the fan on it blew yet again. So now i don't know if its the the entire temperature control unit or just the AC. This sucks because its going to be in the 90's for most of the week and I have a few long distance trips to make.
Anyone know what could be going on? I haven't had any other issues with this car at all. FYI I do have aftermarket head & taillights, LED Dome light, head unit, amp and replacement speakers in all 6 locations. Other that that I am all stock.

I had the same thing happen to me in my 06. I worked on it on and off for 3 weeks until I mentally broke down and took it to the dealer. Expecting to get blamed for the problem, they fixed it free of charge and never said a thing to me about my mods. It turns out there was a short behind the glove box that was causing the AC fuse to blow.
