Don't do it dude. 20's are heavy as hell and huge which means lower gas mileage, poor braking, more frequent tire replacing (aside from replacing the tire more often you'll be forced to buy tires that are much more expensive), plus it's gonna feel like your driving around on 4 flat tires since 30 series tires practically are flat tires. Even if you don't care about the impracticalness of 20's, the simple fact is (in my opinion) that 18's look better. After looking at literally hundreds of XB's online, I came to the conclusion that 18's, cosmetically, are the perfect rim for the XB. Plus with 18's you can still safely run a 40 series tire, which means the ride quality won't be awful. Granted, 20's will make your XB stand out, but so will using a hot-pink paint-marker to draw swastikas and kittens--standing out isn't inherently good. The only thing cool about 20's on an XB is that you can say you've got 20's on an XB. But they are impractical for a number of reasons, and aesthetically they are simply too much rim for such a little box.

Not that it matters but,

My husband got to Las Vegas from LA with the same amount of gas he normally uses and we know this bc we purposely were watching it to see if there was any difference at all. It takes us to the light to get from LA to here every time in both boxes which is approx 300 miles. The light was on when we hit town so we figure we didn't lose anything noticeable.

Just thought Id mention that. He also had no complaints about his braking...BUT let me say this MIGHT be bc the wheels might not be as heavy as other brands but Im not sure on that.

Just giving ONE owners info. :D

This one was at the USACi/IASCA World Finals in KC recently. Stock ride height and 30 series tires I think:

I have to agree with Greg though, 19s look really good . If I had it to do again though, I would go with 18" wheels and 40 series tires to fill the gap a little better.

Just my opinion.....but YUCK! Why you would want to put 20" wheels on an econo is beyond me. For one, the xB barely has enough power to get out of it's own way as it is, let alone trying to roll 30 pound wheels. Second, they just don't fit with the styling of the car. It's a small car, with small wheel wells. Looks akward as hell
Thirdly: one of the best parts of the eB performance wise is the handling/ride. Just stiff enough to feel sporty and responsive without sacrificing ride quality. A 30 series tire is going to feel like ____ and be super open to clow outs from a half inch crack in the freeway. A blow out with the thin sheet metal our cars could be disasterous.
Lastly: Why anyone would want to show off our tiny ___ discs in the front and drums in the back is beyond me.

Thats just my worthless opinion though.

Well in my opinion small wheels look hideous! The box needs an 18 or above period!! Small wheels look funny! Like "wheres the wheels" its big enough for 20's to blend! Small wheels make it look like its going to tip over!

i have to agree with you those little tiny wheels remind me of lowriders and there little spokes. 20s on an xb only look good with a drop though, if there sitting stock there just way to far up there. I personally think the work equip are some of the ugliest wheels out there but i respect the quailty of the wheel what goes into making them. Thats just my opoin and im sure there are people out there that wouldnt like my choice of wheels. So to each his own for what ever style you choose.
