Default Need a sponsorship??

If anyone is looking to try and get sponsored, let me know. Stay away from sportcompactpro and carsponsorships.com as they are just in it to make money. Either pm me for details or check out my personal site as I have a small post on my front page about it.

So basically you want to make money off it according to your site Or can you explain why you then point to your site that for $80 you will prepare a proposal for someone

Default Sponsors

When you go into askingg a company for a sponsorship. May sure you have a good presentation. Not just I want some free stuff. They will want to know what kind of coverage you will give them be it shows magazines etc. You need to list the show you have been to and what you r placed and the ones you plan on attending. Most companies want to see that you have put a lot of time and money into your car. They usually will set up a contract for 16 months in were you have to go to x amount of shows. And be willinmg to have decals omn your car for that amount of time. I have a sponsor that will reimburs the cost of shows to me. They will want a list of mods you have done and plan on doing. Some of them want it submitted in writing as in mailled to them others will take you presentation on a cd. I have gotten free stuff and thinks for 60% off. I will tell you it is work you have to show them you are willing to advertise for them and some will want to use your car for shows.

my cousin had his truck sponsored and man they wanted to even take his truck from him and trailer it to las vegas for a show then bring it back.

some sponsors want to much, some want to little. The one that sponsored me gave me free tint as long as I tell people where and how they can get the tint from.

Yes, you are right...I would charge 80 bucks. If someone wants me to do it for them, hey thats what it costs. People dont work for free.... And yes, you are right..I did do carsponsorships.com and got sponsored by house of boom and decalkits.com which I have NOT and will NOT use there services. For 90 bucks, they can keep their vinyl and their houseofboom crap. I did it to see what they offered. And I lost out the money. Oh well... What I am offering is a professional proposal to be submitted to companies for sponsorship. Sponsorships are had because you show you have something to offer their company. Again, nobody works for free. Getting free product entails you doing something for them, wether it is sporting their logo or letting them take your car to Vegas for the SEMA show. Thats what its about...

Hey man I would like to appologize formally for what I said earilier, I feel like an ___. I would like to do this with you, but I am all stock, and have NO money to do mods (got demoted) and from what I have heard, they dont want to sponsor stock rides, even if you are willing to do anything short of stand naked holding a sign. And oh, if you do not use them, take them off your list of sponsors, because they are not your sponsors if you do not promote them, this is just my humble opinion, and again, I am very sorry for what I said. I really do feel bad.

But you'll be willing to take the $80 from anyone, regardless of their chance at actually getting any sponsors, right?

If I come to you with a stock 85 Civic and ask for sponsors, you'll take my $80 to write proposals, even though there is just no way I'll get sponsored.

For the most part, guys, sponsors are not worth the effort. If you want to save money on parts, put the money into getting the papaerwork to set yourself up as a business and then buy your parts at dealer cost. Then you have no obligation to spend every weekend parked at some stupid car show - and nobody else has any claim whatsoever to the use of your vehicle.
