Wow this thing is looking great. I love how the pinstriping looks on the flames. It is bringing the paint job all together. Can't wait to see the finished product.

 

Wait until he gets his new wheels on. Those 20's just don't look right anymore. The new wheels look like they were made for that paintjob.

 

I hope that he has some picks of it all done soon. Any Ideas when he gets his wheels??

 

He is waiting on tires that should be here today. Hopefully he can get them mounted by Wed. He does have a job after all...lol.

I know people jest about the magnetic/vynal overlay. But, Just in case you're thinking about it, I'll chime in that I wouldn't because you'd have people removing it/messing with it all the time.

Met Clay tonight -- he saw Jarrod's former xB I bought from him in the parking lot and whipped it in.

Gotta say, Clay -- that is absolutely amazing! These pictures on here just don't do it justice. You should definitely take some pics during the daytime and post 'em. I'm glad you posted these, though. I was trying to explain it to my wife and she just gave me this "WTF" look. The more I tried to explain, the stupider she looked at me. I think you're making the right decision going w/ the 18's instead of 20's. Jon's 18's were a perfect fit on mine when Jarrod had it.

 

I was with ya until the blue and green. Oh well. As far as the ******* go, I have no problem with such things, it's just that this pair are really fake looking.

 

Sorry for the delay in getting back. I have been driving it since last friday night, and i love it! you know the look that you got when you first got your XB, and they were still new to the market.... i'm getting that look X10!!!

Like Jon said.... I have my wheels, and my tires were supposed to be here a few days ago, but never showed. i ordered my tires and my g/f's wheels at the same time, and her wheels showed up, but not my tires! So i called the company where i bought them from, and they never shipped, so they are on the way to me now! AND just incase any of you are wondering what wheels i got, you'r just gonna have to wait and see! I'll take some pics after i get the wheels put on and post the pics! And like Damon said.... i have to wait until a bright sunny day, so it looks that much better!

All in all, i am VERY pleased with the work! the way the factory TCM paint intertwines with the green flames! the green falmes have alot of rainbow flake (no flamming here please ) , and the orange around the TCM just tops it off!

Next on the list is air ride (the reason i'm switching to 18's), but as you can imagine, i have to let the funds build back up. I'll make sure to post pics as soon as my new wheels arive.

And on another note: I got my dual Strup exhaust installed today, so i'll take pics of that soon too!
