Default New to the site and need advice on my new xB

I will be the proud owner of the xB in my profile in a matter of hours and i am really excited. Do you guys have any advice on what i should do to it? I am looking at everything, interior, exterior, etc so just let me know what you think. I am thinking about doing the cup holder illumintion thing but i really have no prior exposure to anything electronic. It doesnt sound especially hard but im still a little intimidated. anybody have a step by step photo guide. I know ive heard of such a thing and ive seen that tutorial but i need something thats easy and step by step for an automatic xb. Thanks so much for your help!

Try this section also.

https://www.scionlife.com/tech/

I've done a couple of the things on it and a lot of them have step by step procedures.

Search works much, much better if you select "search for ALL terms."

My suggestions? Take a look at some people's cars and see what you like. Then do it. (Shameless self-promotion: you might want to start by hitting the link in my signature).

Interior lights are a pretty good, easy place to start. Most of the things can get done in a couple hours without many tools, and you get to see the results right away.

Hey thanks for the new replies. I cant wait to get the box and im thinking it might be today so hopefully i can start on some stuff soon but do you see anything on mine that need immediate work? The interior is stock with a couple of simple factory options and the exterior you can see in the pictures. Thanks in advance and also thanks for the warm welcome. You guys are great.

Oh man, the mod that you NEED to do is easy and cheap. You need to tilt the front seat back a little bit. Trust me, it makes a world of difference in comfort.

Do it by getting some longer bolts and 5-10 washers for each bolt at home depot or whatever. Take the stock one out, slip some washers under the mount, and screw the longer one in.

^^its kinda like the front of the seat is lift a little bit up while the rear of the seat stay the same so it would feel like a racing seat. i know whats hes talking about but i cant seem to explain it more simpler...

Man you guys have been great. I finally did get the xb last night and i love it so far. It ended up having some stuff that i didnt even realize it had and obviously the dealer didnt either so that was exciting. Thanks for the tip on the seat. Sounds like an easy mod and i did notice something had to happen with it so that tip is perfect. Also, ive been looking at some new headlights. Do you guys have any insight into any of those? i like the look of the helix dual halo projector headlights but i really dont know anything about them. I would like to eventually build a mini range and i thnk those would help. Sorry the message is so long but you guys are the best and i hope to talk to you soon.

Have fun with it. You may want to run a search on the projector headlights. I don't run them, but from what I understand, the housings tend to fog up when wet (which is easily fixed) and the bulbs almost certainly need to be upgraded. Personally, I dig the way they look. Mini Range sounds dope, enjoy.
