Default New SPFR JDM Style Billet Grill for xB!

here's the pics - unpainted, and with a few minor adjustments to be made (you can see the center top is bowed up - just needs a quick trim this afternoon and then some paint) - but you get the idea.

i'll probably run the billet (along with the 2 lower billet inserts not pictured) for a little bit, then i think i'm going to replace the top billet insert with a black or silver mesh for a more euro look

- Brian

I'll post more pics once we finish tweaking and painting it!

would you know where I can get some of that honey comb stuff like we have in the lower 2 portions of the bumper?

I think that' would look cool as an insert in that grille.

it looks great and it will look good painted.

i noticed the the top fiberglassed portion is not straight with the billet part. will that be fixed before the final production?

it's not fiberglass, it's made of high quallity polyurathane

there is one billet that needs to be trimmed that the mount is resting on, so it's stretching the center up in the pictures - that'll be fixed today and hopefully painted by tomorrow

i thought this piece was fiberglass and then the actually part will be urethane. nonetheless it looks great. i figured it would be fixed, but i just wanted to make sure.

looks good brian.

also, this is probably the dumbest thing i've ever said in my life but you see how the top is bowed? well i looked down at the bottom and it looks like that is also bowed. and it almost looks like if you flipped it around it would be a perfect fit. i know that's probably impossible but check the picture and maybe you'll see it too. especially the first picture.

ya, but it's in the right way - since it's urathatne i think the top is pulling the entire thing out of shape a little bit

i also bought one of these grilles. it's actually WAY cooler looking in person. the pictures brian took are good quality but they don't do the grill justice at all. it looks WAY cooler in person. the grill is really cool looking when it's all painted and installed right and you can't tell from the pictures but the billet part is all brushed aluminum and totally cool looking. not all cheesy like the other billet grilles out there. just my opinion. i never liked aftermarket grilles before but i think this one is cool because you paint it and it really becomes part of your car.
