Whats really funny is that this armrest is also on ebay. I almost bought it over the weekend. Glad I waited a few days. Saved a few bucks.

 

Actually the armrest you are referring to on ebay is not the same. It is a product made by TAG Accessories. Do not be fooled as it is not anywhere close to the quality of our Boomerang Armrest. I beileve it is manufactured out of vacuum formed polystyrene that is rivited togther and has vinyl laminated to the outside. It does not bolt in (bad news in an accident) and if it something breaks, such as the lid, the whole unit has to be replaced. (Because it is rivited together, not screwed or bolted). Please feel free to contact me if you need any other info on the Boomerang Armrest and the differences between it and our competitors.

I count 27 on here who posted that they had just bought one. When I spoke with Chris he said they were *swamped,* so I'm betting there were many more than that. Very cool! Can't wait to get my grubby little mitts on mine. :D

 

made a call this afternoon. chris was real cool. and placed my order in for the same price. he said it will be shipped out on monday. can't wait. he mentioned the website was officially suppose to be announced next week but somehow word got out.

How exactly does it mount?

 

It looks like it just drops in the cup holder and part of it goes into that small slinder space on the center console for more support. I don't belive it's bolted down, but Chris could explain it better.

 

he told me that the screw that is in the rear cup holder gets taken out then a new longer screw goes in its place to secure it down and a few little anchors on the bottom that get tucked under the carpet. 5 minute job he said
