well i came to the conclusion it is almost impossible to find a polar white in a stick. my dealership i work for can not find one even in the region. so i opted to phantom grey instead of polar white. it hurts to do that but i just really want the car so the grey should be here in 2 weeks

I got lucky then.
there were 3 white XB's in town and all of them were auto.
I told the sales man I was not in a hurry and that I could wait until they got a white 5 speed. they tried to convince me to buyt the auto, and I held firm.
20 minutes after I left the dealer, they called me and told me that they found a white 5 speed in Tampa ( I live in Orlando)
So 4 hours later I was driving an 05 polar white 5 speed Xb.

 

i wanted a white one too... same boat, ended up with a phantom grey. No biggie; i still like it very much! The dealership ended up giving me alot of their "aftermarket" crap.. so i guess it was ok.

No mattter.... we could always paint our cars white someday

Funny how finding the car you want is impossible until the saleman realizes that you aren't going to buy the substitute that he wants you to buy!

It really frosts me when a salesman says "you'll have to be flexible" about some aspect of the car I'm buying. Sorry, but when I'm spending $15,000 and buying a new car I don't feel all that flexible!

BTW, our local dealer has two white xBs and two white xAs on the lot, along with several other colors. It looks as if the "feeding frenzy" is over for the xA and xB.
