xA full tank is 45 liters:
Highway 707.850 kilos
City 593.055 kilos
now you see the difference? i think overdrive helps much.
Q: Does the xA manual has overdrive? (mine is manual)

Yes 5th gear is a ratio less then a 1:1. Just not sure what it is though. If I had to guess I would say maybe a .85:1. So for the simple answer yes the 5spd has a overdrive. Also the auto does to.
