Default Official Launch Date Today??

My dealer in Eau Claire, WI called me last night to tell me Scion has moved the launch date to today. That means dealerships will start recieving their Xa's and xB's soon, and have them ready "by the end of the week." :D Has anyone else heard this???

Do you mean the launch date for your dealer in Wisconsin? Cause I know several people on the forum that already have '05 Scions.

Yep, I was told by my dealer in Madison WI that his first two customer cars are IN stock and ON the lot today.

That's the good news.

The bad news is that I"m third.

I feel like an expectant father. Or like I think an expectant father would feel ... a little less terrified, probably not going to have to deal with getting no sleep, and nursing and it pooping. ... Altho' maybe I SHOULD bottle-feed my new baby .... Nah, that would only increase the chances of it taking an unexpected dump. :D

My guy — Steve at Jon Lancaster Scion — is giving me a dial up tomorrow with more details on when "Peg" is due to arrive. (Pace pace pace.)

i went to my dealership yesterday and saw mine sitting enxt to a polar, all they're waiting on it a set of hubbies and a cd player. gimme the damn car NOW and ill put it in myself when you get it. so in TN they're letting them go as soon as they come in and get modded.

I was suppose to pick up my 05 xB on 6/01 but they said there was a delay due to the holidays. Wonderies Toyota in Alhambra said it "should" be in today.

If you haven't gotten the car yet you should be able to change your mind. Just go in, inform them that you don't want the extra options (most are installed at the port/dealer anyway).
