I have a 5spd with stock rims...about 3,000 miles on the odometer. I'm also running the SPFR intake.

The little light usually comes on at around 270 miles or so, and I usually fill up around 300 miles.

It's VERY hard to shock yourself disconnecting the battery. Don't be skeerrrred.

Onyx Blue Scion... I just have an intake... but i get about 280 using 92 Gas... ive noticed that i get my best milage within the first 1/4 tank after that it just burns like crazy. The first 1/4 tank i got about 120 Then about half a tank i had about 200 Miles pretty ____ty aint it. Well i think that the light goes on after youve burned about 8 gallons of gas.. soo 8x35=280 that seems about right? tell me what you guys think

You're not getting better mileage the 1st 1/4 tank, it's the just way the fuel gauge and sensor read that trick you.

The yellow light is pretty conservative. There is probably 2-2.5 gallons left when it lights.

i like the fact the warning light leaves you a little ways to go just in case

just be sure to disconnect the negative connector for the battery, otherwise you might get that shock you are worried about

There should be just a fuse to pull out of the engine bay to disconnect the ECU.

BTW, i m getting 29 MPG on a tank breaking the car in and running 215/40/18 so its even better than that

Well, this is the first car I've had in some time that has a warning light. All the others assumed that I could read the guage!

Now if it just had a 20 gallon tank!

Default 28 -29 mpg

I drive 64miles one way 99% freeway at night with no traffic. I usually go about 70-75 mph. I have the AEM and the five speed. A little under the sticker ratings huh? I guess you would have to keep it at 3000RPM or less at all times. ill try it some time.. (Idontthinkso)
