So we trade in my wife's car for a new PGP xA & I drive the thing around for a few weeks...whaddaya know, I find myself trading my [V6 auto] Mustang for an 06 BOP xB last night. :D


I'd planned on driving it away bone stock when I take delivery next week...rims & Eibach ProKit to follow.


Is there one option you wish you had sprung for at the dealer, or are glad you did?

 

Glad I got the leather steering wheel. I love it, and those airbags always did scare me.
Wish I would have gotten the cruise control, but figure I install it myself later.

Wish i couldda got , sunroof , leather , and cruise. I wasnt offered any. just to see cars leave the same dealer after i bought mine with even more installed. argh. oh well. now i'll never get the sunroof or leather too much to not have financed.

I am glad I got the CAI for powertrain warranty. I wish my dealer offered a sunroof and I wish I got the leather steering wheel.

 

I have an option I wish I didn't get...dealer installed factory oem crappy foglights. They do not fit right and either the dealers tell me (been to three so far) "thats the way they all fit" or "never seen that problem before".
I do wish we got the cruise control though. We travel alot (been from Boston to Lafayette, LA and now north of San Fransisco since May) so the cruise would have helped even just to allow me to move my foot every now and then.

 

If you are handy, install the cruise yourself and save money on a better control. For the xB, the one must-have is the cargo liner. It protects the rear carpet and rear seat backs. Everything else you can buy elsewhere cheaper and put in yourself.

For personal tastes, I like my Scion floor mats.

 

I do agree...the cargo liner is awesome...thick heavy canvas (with a light rubber back for waterproofing I guess)....great option...Wish my XRS had this

 

I too agree about the cargo liner (bought without dealer option). I've placed my 26" mountain bike inside and it holds up very well. The only option I got is the cargo cover...dont bother with this thing. Keep it bone stock...although if cruise is an option and seems reasonably price, I would go for it.

definatly cruise control. now im looking at spending another 300 on it when i could have gotten it cheaper at purchase time. oh well, no biggy.

slipknot did you get an xb or tc? if you got an xb and you think your fogs suck I will buy them from you if you can give me a good deal ... I wish that I would have gotten a factory wing put on my car . Cosmetic I know but I see them now and Im like what the freak. I kick my self everytime

 

I wish I had had the silver leather steering wheel installed and financed...

 

I have the xB. Apparently there is a problem with the fogs and AEM CAI combo. I think I fixed the problem with the clearance but they still flop around and are pretty much useless other than looks. I can't sell them though...my block off plates are in storage in Louisiana and I'm in California. Sorry joescionwv...I have to keep them.
