Default One more thing the Xb is great for!

Took the son to the drive-in last night. The Xb is the perfect drive-in machine for two people! Park it backwards, open the hatch, lay down the back seats and throw a bunch of pillows and blankets in there. Dial into the FM audio broadcast and you are set for a double feature! (BTW we saw Cars and The Shaggy Dog). Of course they ended a little after 1:00 am and I had to be at work this morning but ehhhhh.

1. The Drive-in is in Fork Union, which is about 2 hours or so south of D.C. Take 66 West to 29 south, after about 30 miles or so get on 15 south (towards orange) and stay on 15 south to Fork union. Absolutely in the middle of nowhere but I love it.
We actually tried to go Friday night but the car in front of us was the last one in before it sold out! They shut it down just as we got up to the gate! Sunday night was only 3/4 full. Week after next is a good show-- X-men 3 and The Omen double feature! This is a nice place, too,-- family run and well kept. Kids playing frisbee before the show in the grassy area in front of the screen, and they don't mind if you bring your own drinks, food etc. All they ask is that you don't set up bbq grills or have your coolers outside your car. They are so nice there and keep the prices reasonable, though, so I don't mind buying my stuff at their concession stand.
