Default Paint Code

Can anyone give me a paint code for a color that is close to chrome? I don't want spray chrome that is to expensive.

Also the chrome paints they have out I have noticed when you spray them with clearcoat they turn to dull grey.

My other option was to go to the autostore and look for a can of automotive paint that was bright silver.

I think a high gloss silver would be your best bet. The only way to get chrome is to get the pieced dipped. The chrome paint from autozone fades to gray after clear and when you do it without it fades after a month to the same color.

try the paint from www.alsacorp.com they make a paint that looks so much like chrome it will blow your mind. weve been experimenting with it at our shop it is insane.

I am thinking a high gloss silver myself from an auto store is my best bet to. Some nice clear coat and buffing should make it shine nice.

The paint from alsacorp.com is a bit expensive. Especially when I only want about a 18in x 3in piece chrome.
