Paint protection installed
I dropped of the XB this morning to have the Venture paint protection film installed. I'm having it installed on the bumper, fenders, headlights, hood and mirrors. There are two small rock chips already and with the amount of driving we do, it'll only get worse.
I've researched all the different films...3M, Avery, Llumar, Venture, etc. They all have their pros and cons, but I decided to go with the Venture film. I'll post pics later this week because it's raining today and supposed to rain the rest of the week.

I'll keep the meet in mind, but I probably won't be able to get there. I'm remodeling my kitchen and bathroom right now. I am slated to install my tile floor in the bathoom this weekend if the tile arrives on schedule.

You might be on to something there! :D
I just got home and was checking out the paint protection. My wife drove the Xb home and it was raining when we picked it up, so I didn't get to examine it closely. Tell you what, I had a heck of a time even finding where the edge of the film was. I had to run my finger down the hood and bumpers to find it because I honestly couldn't spot it. This was in my well lit garage too!
Of course since the Xb is silver, that makes a huge difference with any protection film. Dark colors make the film edge line easier to spot.
