That'as just it. It's when people claim something is played out. Why does anything have to be played out? If that was the case, we should be VIPing Pontiac Montana's then. Those aren't played out yet. I mean, if soemthing gets played out, where you gonna go next? Stop worrying about what is played out and do your OWN thing. Things being played, is played out. how about that?

Played out or not, JDM is far from new.
Going along with "doing your own thing," some people should stop worrying so much about applying a particular theme (be it JDM or otherwise) to their car. That is how you get people who only do this or that mod because it's what's trendy at a given time.

i tried doing that at first. kevin knows when i was doing that. i went for what i thought judges would like and things like that. screwm though. ive begun to do my own thing and gets a TON more props than some car whether its JDM or not.

You're mixing up words. 99% of cars on SL wanting that look are JDM "style"...not JDM. There's only a handfull of people with a JDM xB and it doesn't count if you have JDM mirrors, 15" american wheels with deep dish looking like they're JDM wheels, or any measely number of parts. You can rock only WORK wheels and that won't mean d*ck cuz you're stil still STOCK.

what i meant by my earlier post is im tired of seeing @$$ clowns claim "jdm" when they rock cheapy cheap knockoff wheels. "my cars jdm this jdm that" im like uhhh right.... but yeah i understand your point of different styles of "jdm". i was more referring to the local crowd here in socal.
