Lookin' good, djct_watt! I was thinking of getting tein s-techs, but then I heard they are real low. Then I thought about getting those TRDs...I might get those or the Eibachs... How do you like the ride? Also, what headlights did you buy/install?

Why do ppl link from there yahoo photos page? It seems to never work but for a few minutes. If you got a yahoo account, just post them up on your *free* www.geocities.com account. You dont need to make a web page or nothing, just upload them to the server, then link to them. Its not that hard is it

Sorry I missed this post and never answered!

I love the TRD ride. . . it's much better than stock, but compliant enough to not jar my bones. I can't really tell a difference when I'm driving normally, but when I take a turn hard, I definitely feel the difference! The kit is enough to give the xA the aggressive stance I want, without being too low as well, and the white springs match the car!

Now, with the improved the suspension, the tires have become obsolete (as if they weren't to begin with). The car tracks nice and flat (a little less body roll would be nice, but any stiffer and long term wear could/can become a problem), but the tires easily cook, and the way I drive, it is uncommon to lose traction. But the limit is really high, so it's not much of a problem. . . I just like to test that limit as often as I can  . The other point, is now that I've improved the suspension, I feel more confident to test that limit. Before, when the car started to lose traction, it would pitch and dive and roll wildly. . . which is all but gone now. Oh. . . I do notice more whell hop tho. . . The up side of these crappo tires is that they are inexpensive to replace.

I would love to have the car dropped until it nearly touches the ground, but past experiences have given me too many headaches, as well as many of my friends.

And the headlights are DOT approved, street legal, APC superwhites. I don't want to be melting any wires, and for street legal superwhites, they are pretty cheap ($12). Sylverstars are nicer IMO, but more $$ and they do burn out fast. I've been through tons of brands in my old car, and found APC's to not be THAT bad. The fog bulbs are Nokya 9006 Hyper-Yellow's. Parking lights are also superwhites.

I want HID, but there output from the stock bulb/housing combinations of good enough for me.

I always wanted to change my stock foglight bulbs. Hey djct, since you've done this..was it hard to swap out for the hyper yellows?

You wouldn't believe how easy it is. . . you just go in through the wheel wells. . . it's not that much of a reach, and that flimsy plastic is real easy to pull back. It takes less that 1 minute. Just rotate the base counter clockwise a few notches, then pull. Undo the wiring harness, and you're done.
