Default Pics of my ride

Well i have never put up pics of my box so i figured now is as good time.

My mods:

Front tilt hood
Blacked out head and tail lights
Debagged
Removed rear wiper
Colour matched lock and wiper plugs
Esam style window visors
Motegi DP20 17x7 205-40-17 rubber

Coming Soon:

One of the fun mods i did. Trust me it wakes people up. And i know my engine bay is dirty.

Me likey what I see so far except for the filth under that hood.
What kinda kit are you using for that tilt forward hood? I'd like to do that sometime, it's sweet.
Drop that sucka on the Tanabes and possibly add some 1/2 inch rear spacers to finish it out nicely.

Next week end I will be cleaning the engine bay. I have been putting that off for way to long, but now that I have the tilt hood I have no choice. As for the kit I used rallying_the_scion's DIY. I changed it up a bit different from what he did but other wise same basic idea.

The engine bay is actually black, it is just really dirty so it looks gray. I will be painting some engine components this week so I will have it all nice and clean.

I will take a pic of the tail lights at night. Even though I have painted the interior of them they are still plenty bright in the night.

Raceking924 As for the tilt hood, it is not teribally difficult. More nurve racking than anything. You will wont a buddy to help out and make sure you test fit all the bracketry frist. The worst part is drilling into the underside of the hood.

SuperMario6582 For the tail lights yes i didpaint the housing and not the lens. The main reason was i could not find the right paint of the lens. I painted the housing flat black. It look really good in person.

SuperMario6582 Ya it is gray behind the the gas tank door, and when i took a second look at the engine bay it is a dark gray, really dark gray. Is it not that common to have a gray engine bay?

This is what your engine bay should look like.

I still intend on painting the lens of the tail light, and i will have to go to the model shop and see what they have in the Tamiya line of paint.

Definitely paint the inside of the lens instead of the outside... makes a world of difference.

I used Testors Candy Apple Red transparent on mine.

First attempt - outside of the housing.

Second attempt - inside of the housing.

As it sits now - Testors inside, smoke vinyl outside.

Your tails look great. I plan on painting the inside of the lens aswell.

How many coats of smoke did you put on the outside of the lens? And what Colour of testors paint was it you used?
