This is to all the people in the areas where Scions were introduced Feb 2004. Has the Scion caught on in your area? My dealer has sold quite a few but almost all of them drive right out of state. I live in Arkansas, and every state above us has not revieved dealerships yet. It is weird that I have not seen one Scion on the road in North West Arkansas... Is this happening anywhere elese?

Just curious
Nathan

Default back to topic .....

I live in Atlanta and got my Scion about three weeks ago. I had not seen a single other one on the streets until yesterday.

I'm in Charlotte, NC on an extended business trip right now, and yesterday afternoon a guy in a silver xB pulled up behind me at an intersection. I grinned and waved at him in the rearview mirror, and he laughed and waved back. It was kind of cool-- comraderie with a complete stranger, because we drive the same car.

Nathan - I just picked up my RS1 on Tuesday from OK City. I'm from Topeka KS area. I haven't seen any on the road yet and am getting some stares. There is a Toyota dealership in KC and in Lawrence (Go Hawks) selling Scions as used, with an $800 to $1000 markup. They said they shipped them in from CA.

Funny, I cant argue that point, I live in Fayetteville Arkansas, one of the only places with people and High Speed Internet!! And then there is Bentonville (Wal-Mart), and Springdale (Tyson Chicken). Everything thing elese about this state is boring. I moved from up North, and I am missing it lol . Check out the Real Estate in Fayettevlle, there is a reason it is the most expensive place to live in Arkansas .

i don't really get a chance to drive my rs1 but i saw two other xb's in my area. one silver and one cherry. they were all stock and some old peoples were driving them. seriously doubt they are on scionlife. they didn't throw up a hand or anything. probably hating b/c i got the rs1 and its hotter.

Plus NC there's a white one with wheels near me. My lava gets driven a lot, so sooner or later the two Wilmington lavas will meet out there.
