Default port match intake?

I tried search without results. Has anyone port matched their intake manifold/exh manifold? After I bought my XB, the guys in the shop where I work all huddled around it and offered performance ideas. One was to port/polish the intake runners. Has anyone tackled mild tech such as this? results? Ideas? I bought it with a K&N Typhoon CAI already installed. If we went ahead and tried it, any suggestions before we do it?

I talked to a guy who's shop does a ton or head work but hasn't seen any of our heads in there yet. He said that it was a probably a pretty clean head as toyota does a good job. There would be some better flow and some increase in MPG and HP.

The biggest thing he said was that any further mods, header, air intake, turbo, nitrous-anything that increases air flow for power would be further exemplified due to a better flowing head.

Essentially it will work better but at the cost of doing the head work and the cost of the machining is up to the indivdual-maybe in a decade when I have the engine rebuilt with 150,000 plus miles and decide to add a turbo or charger I will get around to it.
