Power Window on Drivers Side Issue
Drivers power window comes out of the rear track as the window is going down. In other words it is coming out of the "glued" holder. Apparently this was a problem with the first owner as someone had already torn up much of the plastic.
First, what "glue" is used to keep the window in the holder and can you purchase it at regular auto parts store?
Second, weather stripping around window seems to be very tight and apparently pulls hard on the window such that it pulls out of the holder. Can I put some silicone or something on the weather stripping to act as a lubricant? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Windshield hard set urethane will glue the glass back in the track. Lubing the window channel with spray silicone might help the sticking a little, BUT, I bet if it is sticking that something else is wrong, improperly installed or damaged run channels or weather strips maybe. Is the window a Toyota OEM glass or an aftermarket replacement??? if it is the latter it may not be fitting right causing the entire problem.

Ted speaks the truth. I'm thinking just glue it back into the holder straight and give it plenty of drying time to fully set up. Then check to see that everything is aligned straight and you should be golden.
Or if it's still under warranty just have Scion cover it for free.
