Default Power window switch, is it possible?

Is it possible to buy more one touch down switches to make the rest of the windows one touch? Is it more than a button? Could I install the one touch up/down from a RX300 to replace all the switches?

This has come up before, and I'm sorry I've not found the source I bought my
Auto/Up down windows, but it's a relay kit that has nothing to do with the switch
technically.

I did a quick google, and this was the first sight I clicked on:

http://www.topendmotorsports.com/ext...ndows/autoloc/

It's NOT the same one I put in my Porsche, but it's basically the same thing.

I think the way it works is that it's a relay that senses when the button is pressed,
sends the window up or down, then senses when the motor is stressed (window full
open or closed) and then the relay shuts off.

Super easy to add, but takes up some space in your door.

I'd really like to add auto up/down to my box, at least on the passenger window,
but I I've not researched it yet...I thought some alarms can do the same thing,
so I'm hoping to do an all in one setup and let the Alarm Installer worry about doing
it.

in the case of the rx 300 each motor has a pulse sensor
and each door has an ecu so jacking toyota like parts may be harder than the wireing diagram suggests but i like ravens idea better it sounds more do-able im curious. me search too

Raven, would the autoloc work in conjunction, or in replacement of the stock system for the drivers window? thx.

I have no idea how integrated the Scion/Toyota auto up/down is on the box.
If it's simply a module, I bet you could disconnect it and replace it with one that
has more features.

But chances are, as computer controlled as the Scion are, I bet it's integrated into
something else, and probably shouldn't be mucked with.

Like I said, I've not done it on my box, I've done it on all my Porsche with power
windows. I love the auto up/down, otherwise it's hard to juggle a stick shift, toll
change, steering wheel, and window button all at once, to say the least!

I thought the switches played a part in that feature. Cuz on the Tc and the Lexus's.. that have that option. (not all do on all the doors) The witch is like a 2 way switch each way. You have to press it so far to enage that auto up/down.. If im not mistaken..

I do know there are kits that you can do this. I didnt look at the link above so I cant give any info on that.. If you dont get anywhere wit this. Ill do some technical research and find out for sure what ya need to do

What about auto down and up switches? Do any of the Lexus cars offer those?

Yea they do. But not all models. I know some of them have changed since I worked their and imnot up to date on any of my informartion. But I would start looking into to GX and LX suv's.. And also the LS model.. Call a dealer and ask for parts and tell them what your lookin for. They would be able to help you further than me at this point.
