Nonsense. You guys act like this is the only time this carp has been going on!!

Cops profile, have been since they been giving out tickets.

Each year is a new thing.

I got pulled over a million times for nothing and even got tickets for no freaking reason. Why? For 10 years if you were a white male in a red sports car you were a target.

Doesn't matter who the President is or what party is in power it comes down to extra revenue.

There was a time when cars were about go, today it is all show and the more you show the more you are asking for attention, sometimes it comes from the cops.

Ive gotten 2 tickets(one was deserved) but the first one i was sitting at a red light and it turned green and i started to go then right as i got through the intersection i glance up to my rear view mirror and sure enough there was a cop behind me with his lights on so i pull over and he claims i was doing 60 in a 40 but he wrote me for 50 in a 40 and i had a feeling it was due to my exhaust...

lol...out of all cars the xB is being profiled for "Fast and Furious" drivers. I really don't understand why everyone thinks these are racers or something. Everywhere you go someone wants to race you, and now we have to be profiled by cops as being racers. That makes absolutely no sense, I don't even think they look like anything that should be racing. The only boxes that race are in the soap box derby.

I had my wife and three kids with me (i'm 50 years old). He ran my social and let me go. I feel that he pulled me over 'cause of my xb. If i had been younger i bet he would have tried to ticket me for something...
Some police cars have radar systems (the Stalker DSR for example) that can tell if a car is coming or going towards the patrol car. It takes into account the speed of the car and figures the speed of the other one. It can also track you when moving in the same direction and in the same lane. pretty crazy stuff if you ask me.

*edit* - technically, its called 'tracking with the aid of radar/laser' they dont use the stopwatch and calculator anymore, and they can only do it if they visually estimate you are going within 3mph +- of the actual speed you are traveling. But, we all know they dont do that.

but, here in A-Town, Buford, Carrollton (places i live and frequent) ive never gotten stopped. I drive around with my windows down, subs goin, underbody lights on, and blue lights inside my car. Never gotten stopped or even looked at twice by anyone. Cept for the UPD here on the UWG campus, the guy was a jerk and told me to keep my stereo down. It was on 25 with the subs turned 1/4 of the way down. But, other than that, no problems with the 5-0.

No profiling going on in Houston. I did stop one xB owner who was going a litt...a LOT fast... cut him a break and let him slide with a warning. Told him I couldn't do that to a fellow xB driver.

I get harrassed by the man all the time, whether I'm driving or not, so it's tough to say if it's the car or what.

I got pulled over while driving through an industrial area on my way home from work. There is a factory in the area that makes custom body parts and stuff for OEM's. They got robbed a few weeks ago and apparently the thiefs were driving xB's and xA's. I guess I fit the profile in that case.
