Here are some pics for you to check out.

More pics can be found here

If you are standing right up on the product it can be seen if you know what you are looking for and the lighting is right, but from five feet away or behind the whel you cant see it and will be glad you have it every time you hear a rock hitting the front end.

If you have any other questions please let us know. We would be glad to help you out anyway we can.

My biggest complaint about my box is the thin paint. I have a BOP and it shows every last nick and scratch. Plus after 30,000 miles the car has spider webs all over it and as careful as I am with detailing I still can't prevent the spider webs. With the paint so thin I'm reluctant to use a polishing wax to try and rub some of these webs out. The only good thing is they're not visible out of direct sunlight.

But the xB paint stinks in my opinion.

During the application is it like contact cement or can you lift and replace it if it gets bubbles etc. ?

One can re-position the film any number of times simply by keeping it 'wet' with the water/alcohol mix used. (When first put on the surface it seems to slip and slide around quite well if the surfaces are adequately wetted. It's not until the water/alcohol mix is squeezed out from under that it seems to really adhere at all.)

It's a slow and exacting process to form it around all the bend and work all the bubbles out (or to keep them from happening).

The tech that put the film on my xB lifted the film back several times to remove tiny specs of dust that had gotten under - and this was in a clean, nearly dust-free shop.

Sounds a bit too tricky for me to do. I've seen to many messed up tint jobs (on flat surfaces) to know that I'd probably do the same.

Thanks,

Kerry

kerry, your saturn has a unique paint job. after testing on my friends saturns before, we determined that the plastic panels are color infused, this means that they are the same color, all the way through, so when you get a scratch or knick, you won't notice it. unlike a regular paint job, where you would see the primer or bare metal. the only metal parts to your car are the hood (for heat reasons) and the gas door (i guess for emissions reasons)

i may be wrong on this, but all i know is that saturns have a very durable finish

Yes, I agree. My hood nicks don't go through to the metal. The finish is just like my Isuzu Trooper, quite remarkable.

Thanks,

Kerry

ive had my black xb for about 5 weeks now, I already see some small scratched all over the front of the hood, dont think the quality on the paint is that good to be honest
the shape of the car doesnt help thought to reflect the rocks from hitting

I have to agree with the xB and design of the box. My good friend had is box painting twice before he finally got wise and came to see us.

HORRIBLE PAINT JOB.

Black with less than 4K miles and about 7 months old.

Swirls everywhere and dare you even look at it the wrong way, there you go, you got a scratch.

Worse part about owning an xB.
