Question about voiding the warranty.
I am planning on installing a CAI kit, exhaust, and short shifter on my 05 xB that I bought last weekend. Will these things void the warranty? If not what kind of mods will?
Oh. My. God.

Simply put, the warranty as a whole will not be voided by a single part. Installing new wheels will not void a claim on electrical problems. Also, it is up to the shop to provide proof that the part in question caused the damage in question.
If you have a little money, have the dealer install the accessories if they are Scion accessories, this should cover you. Based on the three items you listed, I wouldn't be worried about losing coverage. Something like a turbo on the other hand, I would not count on that warranty.

Sheesh. Sorry if it seems like im mad, im not. Just don't throw out an answer without actually knowing the answer.
As stated, the dealer would have to PROVE that by you installing part "X", part "Y" was damaged thus voiding the warranty on said part.
Don't worry about installing aftermarket parts, unless it's something really hairy like a turbo.
