I was wondering if I could just pull the off the Scion emblem on the front, and replace it with those bB emblems on ebay, or will I need a whole new grill? I'm assuming the rear is only a matter of removing the xB, and the Scion logo with a hair dryer or some other similar process right? Thanks for the help.

 

from what i hear, the front scion logo just snaps on and can be replaced with the bB.

a hair dryer will loosen up the goo on the hatch emblems and they should come right off. you can use a piece of dental floss or fishing wire too. have some goo off or something of that nature on hand in case it doesn't come off cleanly.

I wouldn't say it actually "snaps" off.

There are 3 platic clips that extend through the opeing. The OEM scion logo also has a large (by comparison) body colored trim piece under it. Just press the tabs from the back, then wiggle it out away from the grille. When you see the new one, hopefully JDB bB logo, it has the same style of attachment, but is MUCH smaller and fits almost exactly in the recess in the grille.

Not having to buy or mod my OEM grille was a BIG selling point. And a smaller logo, in a country where the Cadillac Escalade has an 18 inch logo on ach door, was also a selling point

that's probably as cheap as they get. they dont even make a huge profit on em either.

 

Any one have any idea where i can purchase a tc badge at (i mean the actual 'tc' not the scion badge)? I want to leave the one on the rear (but remove the scion badge), install the black grillecraft grille upfont and tac on the tc badge.

I would try posting a WTB in the classifieds, someone who debadged might be willing to let it go. Otherwise, probably the Parts Dept...

$37 for emblems isn't too bad... you know those warner brothers edition chrysler town and country vans? the warner brothers emblem for the back costs $65!!
