Default Question on TRD muffler...

it says that it cost 300$, im just wondering if its just a muffler or if its an axle back cause 300 is expensive for a damn muffler, im looking at that one because i need to pass emissions and not void the warranty

If I were you I would go with Strup, (PM Fujiz for a great deal and current pricing)- an aftermarket product can not void your warranty unless it can be determined without a doubt that the aftermarket part was the part that caused the car to fail-

P.S.- I do believe thou, that the TRD is axle back-

If you are willing to spend the money, i would recommend going with the JIC spartan exhaust rather than TRD. TRD is an axle back.

Plus IMO it's TOO quiet. Just barely louder than stock, plus the inlet pipe is no larger than the stock one so it can't really have any performance gains.

^^Exactly. TRD is a great company, but they dont really have anything worth buying IMO for us yet. (scions) Even the Supercharger coming out for the TC isn't worth it IMO, its too expensive for what it produces. I could be proven wrong though, i guess we'll see.
