Default Raccoon Bastard

Well, I finally got my car back. I can't beleive that hitting a raccoon at 55 mph would do 1400 bucks worth of damage, but it did. I only had 50 miles on it, had it one day, and I had to hit a freakin' raccoon. This post is just to let you guys know, coons are freakin' stupid. Okay, end rant.

...I've heard of many people hitting things and damaging their cars, but never a raccoon. Did the poor animal make it?

No he didn't survive, in fact, I got out of my car, looked at the damage, went over and gave him a swift kick in his dead ___. He actually flew through my lower honeycomb grill, busted that off, went in hit the crossmember, bent that up, hit the radiator, and my a/c condensor. I couldn't freakin' beleive it.

The only time I ever hit an animal, was when this deer ran into the side of my car while I was doing like 30 or so. I guess the impact significant though, b/c he bent up my fender and there was deer poop and hair all down the side of my car.

Well I feel sorry for the poor innocent creature you killed. You talk like the creature attacked your car on purpose. You obviously don't know whats really important in life... Glad he inflicted damage to your car.. seems like you deserved it with your attitude.. maybe someday you will find out whats really important in life...

Mikem53... Your response is a little scary. I love animals but I love people first. He might not have the funds to replace what was done to his car. I think we see what is important to you in life.

More power to you for having all the toys but try to see it from the other persons perspective.

Rather hear the coon lost his life instead williamweaver swerving and having just the opposite outcome happen.

Think of it as natural selection. That racoon wasn't smart enough to know not to play in the road after dark.

Maybe that will help you sleep at night.

My husband had a truck in his shop that hit a deer, only the deer jumped up and landed on the roof caving it in totally. Could have been worse he just delivered a SUV back to a woman who had a motorcycle t-bone here. The guys at the shop pulled brain matter and bone out of the truck. She is trading it in asap cause she can't drive it now.
