Yeah, it's a bummer hitting stuff in the road. I hit a tractor-trailer tire thread that had come off on I-75 last week. At night, about 80mph, thought I had hit a speed bump! Luckily all it did was rip the lower air dam apart. I just replaced it this AM, thanks to the good guys at TRD Sparks in Myrtle Beach, SC. Cost me 240.00 out of pocket as my deductible is 500.00

My grandpa had a dog run into the side of his truck. Smashed the passenger door pretty good. Beat that... hehehe.

Sorry to hear about the raccoon, but it learned a valuable lesson it will remember for the rest of its life...

I hit a coon last night and luckily it did not damage the xB, just knocked the lower grill corners loose. Popped them back in place this morning and drove to work. I just knew it cracked my lower lip by the way in sounded when it hit.

I was running around 60mph when I saw its eyes in the edge of the bright lights. I hit the brakes slowing down to try to miss. It was in the middle of the two lane and was heading to my side of the road. I swerved left and it turned left, I did a hard right and thought I was going to miss it and it came back right too. BANG!!! CRAP!!! Komacazzi Coon!!

The xB handled the zigging and zagging very well, never felt out of control. I was turning pretty hard at somewhere about 50mph max.

I bet the Raccoon would do it again if it had the GUTS.

Sorry about your luck

Yeah, raccoons suck. I hit one once. The stupid thing ran out in bright day light when I was driving about 40. All it did was break a couple of pieces of the front air dam, however it ended up being over $3000 to fix since it was on an AMG Mercedes. Good thing for the $0 deductible on comprehensive…

My Grandpa would have cooked the Racoon and never looked at his bumper.

Default Deer.....

Wife and I were traveling last week in the Box. She saw a deer in the median, and I slowed down a bit. All I could think of was those darn antlers coming thru that movie screen of a windshield and taking out an eye.
