do you want the harness to stand out or blend in...
to stand out...red or bodycolor...
to blend in...black (if you are just doing a harness bar) if you are doing a roll bar or full cage...paint it the same as the material behind it. (ie. gery up at the top and black down low)
mine is painted black....

well as of right now i have ordered dark grey harnesses.
will probably be buying the #1 seat black with red stitching.
will get my rear seat done in black cloth with red stitching.
am having my headliner done in black tweed or black cloth
having the door inserts done in black cloth with red stitching or dark grey suede with red stitching
staining the a , b, and c/d pillars "granite"
as of right now all the interior accents are black. so my interior will end up being black , dark grey , and then red stitching. lol
what do you all think ?

i think thats too much black and you need the grey belts to break it up a touch.
i would go with the red belts...does not sound like you have enough grey for it to complement it. (re-doing the headliner in black takes away a lot of grey )
at least the red belt would go with the red stiching...
door inserts..black with red stiching...

Yes, but they have been proven via NTSC safety crash tests. Hey, do what you want.....but in an already light and tossable vehicle......I wouldn't risk it just for some looks. Those fake type-r seats actually offer less support than the stock seats (yes, I have ridden in those exact seats)
