all racing seats are teh same way unless you spend over 500 per seat.

stock seats are not dot stamped.....

Yes, but they have been proven via NTSC safety crash tests. Hey, do what you want.....but in an already light and tossable vehicle......I wouldn't risk it just for some looks. Those fake type-r seats actually offer less support than the stock seats (yes, I have ridden in those exact seats)
the last i knew, seats were not NTSC approved. (show me proof that they are...)
they only give rating based upon the entire vehicles performance.

have you even seen the bare frame of the stock seats???
it is hard to make anything worse than that.
if you were worried about being protected in a 'light and tossable' car, you would want a seat that keeps you in place better than the stock ones do (ie: these seats).

you have your own opinoins but your arguements are weak...

I'm not the flashy type, but I would go w/ #1 if I had the choice. But w/ gray stitching and black or gray harnesses.

I like the stealth approach, especially if cops are rolling by and can see in.

I would go with number #3. The #1's stitching looks like crap IMO, but its up to you its your money. If you want the #1 seat I can get those for you.
