Default Really Weird Window Malfunction Today!!

OK, so i have a brand new xB and it is freakin awesome. I loves it!

BUT! today was not so grand. I was headed down to Federal Hill in Baltimore for a fun night (my friend's Bday). I parked on the roof of my favorite garage (really wide spaces), and then well, I don't really know. I was cruising thru Bmore so of course I had to have all the windows down, representing the Tiesto, haha. So I like my stereo, what can I say?

Anyway, I got to the roof of the garage and when I went to put up the windows, NOTHING. The only toggle switch on the drivers door that worked was the Drivers Side Front Window. All the rest of the toggles were not functioning at all! I tried restarting (lol) the car to no avail. Since we've been having some rain, and I was in a public garage, I considered just going home for the night, but my military mind came into play. Never accept defeat.

So, I pondered where the fuse box would be, and how much it would suck to try to replace one in the dark, while it was so wet. Then I thought (ding) I wonder if the other switches work. Well, sure enough, the back switches worked! So, 720 on the odo, all of the front switches didn't function whatsoever (up or down), but the rear ones do, weird.

Now, it gets weirder. Once I got the rear ones to work off of their own switches, the front master controls all worked again. Just now, all is fine and dandy. I really don't understand why nothing was working for a while, or why it was so easy to fix. I thought that perhaps, I was in some sort of programing mode. I don't have a clue though... Anyone?

Are you absolutly sure you didnt have the window lock button down? you can still control the drivers window but none others when that is pushed.

You know, you're probably right. I thought that button just disabled the back windows from their positions, but does it disable the front switches as well? And the passenger front window? I dunno, kinda weird.

LOL. That's funny. Sounds like you have the the window lock button down. At least it's not some kind of glitch.

When my window lock button is down, I can't control any of the windows (driver's included), and neither can any of my passengers. It locks out all switches to all windows.
