Default Rear door panels

I have a question for those of you that have taken off the door panels.

Is necessary to take off the black plastic garnish that we have on our rear doors in order to take off the door panels?

I will be painting the edead v3 when I get it.

The plastic I am talking about is right next to the window.
Does anyone know?

I was going to take mine off when I took the vinyl off from the doors.if you take the panels off you will have holes as the panels are clipped on to the body.

I will just leaves those pillars alone, and yank off the door panels. Hope to do this as soon as I get the edead delivered to me. Hopefully I won't mess anything up.
