Really? My early '06 (delivered on 10/05) has three squirters on the front nozzles, but TWO squirters on the rear nozzle. And it does a moderately decent job of wetting the rear window. (It helps to twist the **** down to spray some water for a second or two before turning up to wipe, I've found.) Not great, but passible.

The front nozzles are terrific, though. If I ever get a round tuit I'm going to try putting a front Scion nozzle on my Camry and see if that would improve the spraying there . . . .

My '06 has two nozzles as well. I usually just spray the window first and let it run down the window and then start the wiper. Can usually get it cleared in 4 or 5 wipes.

I would echo the other posters who mention the pump. While you would need a different nozze to get a 'spray' pattern, the nozzle is so far from the pump (which is in the front of the car) that the pressure is weak.

Think of it this way: take a 2 foot section of garden hose, and a 10 foot section of garden hose. with a mouthful of water, how hard would you have to blow on each to get the water in your mouth out the other end?

I just checked my '06 and it has only one nozzle. Apparently only some '06s have the twin nozzles. If anyone has an '06 parts book, it would be interesting to see if the part number changed. This site only has an '04 parts book. It looks like a cinch to change out. If I can find one, I will change it out.

If it is still under warrenty I would take it back to a dealer and argue that it is a safety issue.

I will look into a different part for the newer model tomorrow.
