Recently smoked out tails
Heres some pictures of my DIY smoking. I taped off all areas but brake and reflector, washed them, and sprayed 4 coats (allowing time to dry in between) of transparent candy red. then, i removed the masking, masked off the red parts, then used transparent black window tint spray for 4 coats. (again, dry in between each). then i removed all, did 4 coats of clear, and reinstalled. tell me what ya think!
(sorry i couldnt get them to load. feel free to post them up here if you know how. i ususally can but new server is weird)

DIY tails
Where did you get the transparent black paint? I have seen it occasionally on ebay, but is this something you can get at your local paint store? I bought some overlays, but man they were a pain in the ___ to put on. They didn't come out right so I took them off.

jarocho, the official name is "Model Masters Black Window Transparent Paint" Its used for car models so any hobby shop should have it. I got mine at Hobby Lobby. the red is the exact same but instead of "Black Window" it says "Red Candy"
thanks for the compliments. it was really easy to do and reccommended for everyone, not just hardcore technicians
