I'm looking to buy 3 of these for my business and we need to install some specialized equipment, specifically some computers preferably in the dash. I was wondering if anyone new the interior dimensions of the radio housing?

 

well it is double din... so that is a stock 4" x 7" and the depth is about 6", but once you get in there, you'll see that there is plenty of room for other items...

if you fab your own mounts you could get more than the 7" width, there might be more like 7 1/2 or maybe 7 3/4 inches of usable space... I have seen the 7" widescreen (720x480) computer screens mounted in the stock location and with some fabrication they put an 8" (800x600) screen on the MTV Pimp My Ride xB...

also, don't discount the pocketed area above the glove compartment, that is a great spot for "oddities"... i have seen a screen mounted there...

if you are putting anything that close to the driver's access and are paying insurance on other driver's be sure to disable computer access while the car is in motion... one wreck and you are pretty much out of business...
