Default Mods on our new xB

At a minimum, we'll probably put new rims and custom decals. We also might do seat covers and a few other little things.

I spotted some rims I liked quite a lot -- they were chrome wheels with a blue chrome center, but I'm not sure where to order them from or how to know if they are the right size/bolt pattern.

I know close to nothing about these things...

So much for keeping the payment low. LOL
The wheels are a ripoff as is most everything on the list except the cruise. It can all be had online for around half as much as the stealership charges plus most is very easy to install yourself. Did your sticker go over 17K?

We put a 25% down payment on the car so the payments won't be too bad. We realized that some of the dealer options could be had cheaper, but we didn't want to try and fight with them to take them OFF. Besides, they were all things we pretty much wanted anyway.

We'd planned to pay cash for a car in December (we are expecting a large lump-sum payment from a client by then) but since we'd heard in the forums that there won't be a 2007 model, we should buy now before they are all gone.

In this case, I think her decision to run had nothing to do with the car we bought. She was a foster child and she ran simply because she wants to be with out-of-state family members.

On the bright side, they told us that our car will be ready for pick up tomorrow.

We rented from our local Toyota dealership. When we returned it, we would have bought one on the spot had they made any effort at all to sell one to us. We told them we were going to buy a new one, but the salesperson who we dealt with never called back. (I think they didn't have any new Scions left on the lot anyway)

We ended up buying from another dealer 45 minutes away.
