Default rev limiter

At what rpm does the rev limiter start working on the x/b, is it 6500 rpm Iam sure someone has hit it and could tell me so I can shift right before it starts working. I have been as high as 6250 rpm and was ok.

haha....we'll after having to pull into 75mph taffic every morning on the way to work..... every once and a while, you have to squeeze between gaps in car, so a higher RPM is needed.... I found with mine, seems to be more like 6650 almost..... just a hair into redline... All you hear is a small skip in the RPM and no more pull from the motor. My friend said he found a way to get around the limitor, and he takes his to 7k I'm sorry, i'll push my box a little, but not that far!
