Default Shock mount broke in 1/2 after installing Tanabe df210

The shock mount literally broke so it makes a loud thunk noise every time I hit a large bump. I will post pics soon. I am unsure why this happend, the springs went in no problem and they drove fine for about 200 miles then randomly bam! and now its just getting worse. The part that seperated was the actual bolt on flange/mount to the shock mount with the bolt holding the shock. Is this warrantied with the springs in there or should I remove them before getting it warrantied? I only have 1500 miles now and 3 weeks old.
