Default So...has anyone broken the rules and tried towing something?

I like all Scion owners, know towing anything is a big

However, moving back to Cali made me want to get back into ATVs (Pismo, Glamis= ) However, there's no way I could tow a tiny trailer and single ATV right? If I really am serious, my only other option is to sell my box and buy my Dad's tacoma. However the nearly $3.50 per gallon is much easier on my wallet while in my box, plus I love it. Damn these hard decisions

Summary: Anyone break the rules and put on a hitch?

If you decide to try to tow anything, you'll likely end up causing excessive wear on the engine and drivetrain that will probably kill your box. It just doesn't have the power for it.

This, https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=119509, is one of many threads I found when I typed "hitch" into the ScionLife search...

Try it!
