Interior held up great.
No damage past the firewall.
Maybe salvagable no frame damage
No engine damage that we can see.
I am really sore and my back hurts.
The air bag did not deploy.

I am so sorry to see this. What was the cause of the accident? I would wager you are close to totalling, depending on any drivetrain damage. Does it still drive?

The cause was another car swerved into my lane doing 5 mph and I was doing 35. When I went to hit the brakes i slid through a puddle and the impact.
The car that I had the accident with was a 1985 ford F150.
The only severe damage was the radiator was pushed into the throttle body. The car does run but the throttle cable is dsepressed and will rev.

Ummmmm......No aribag deployment?! That look's like good enough conditions for it to go off. You travelling at 30 or so at time of impact. Scary.

Sorry to see it happen to your baby, but glad you're alright.

I know they can deploy. Maybe this impact was too much on one side.

Last June when my truck was in the body shop for an accident, there was a TCM xB on the lot that had a front end collision. It was more straight-on, and both bags had deployed and were hanging out on the seats.

The rear of a truck is a tough place to hit, especially a full-size truck. A Mazda 626 had rear-ended my little Mazda truck. There was a steel bumper, a 3500 lb trailer hitch and a steel ladder frame back there. The car's front end was mashed back to the windshield. My truck just needed a new trailer hitch, bumper and rear panel.

So you rear ended the truck. Are they saying that you are at fault since the other guy booked?

Airbag didnt go off because you didnt actually push in the front bumper support which is where the sensors are. You basically went under the truck you hit. If you had hit a lower sitting vehicle with the same force Im betting the bags would have deployed...

...And yeah, Im thinkin its totalled but I could be wrong on that one. Theres a chance its fixable

Dang! That sucks. I'm glad you're okay. If my wife would see that pic, she'd probably cry. Her RS2 is her baby.

This was my gradmothers car that I had borrowed 5 min before the accident.
The insurance company said I was not at fault since the other car involved left the scene.
They are not totaling it.
The damage looks worse than it really is.
About 8,000 in damage and my rs1 grill.
If anyone can find a Rs1 grill that would help alot.
