So I was on my way to work...

So I was on my way to work when this happened.
The person that caused the accident didnt stick around.
I hope its not totaled.
I couldnt see the car that i had the accident with cause this was my view so he took off.

Another horrifing shot
The cause was another car swerved into my lane doing 5 mph and I was doing 35. When I went to hit the brakes i slid through a puddle and the impact.
The car that I had the accident with was a 1985 ford F150.
The only severe damage was the radiator was pushed into the throttle body. The car does run but the throttle cable is dsepressed and will rev.

Ummmmm......No aribag deployment?! That look's like good enough conditions for it to go off. You travelling at 30 or so at time of impact. Scary.
Sorry to see it happen to your baby, but glad you're alright.

Last June when my truck was in the body shop for an accident, there was a TCM xB on the lot that had a front end collision. It was more straight-on, and both bags had deployed and were hanging out on the seats.

Airbag didnt go off because you didnt actually push in the front bumper support which is where the sensors are. You basically went under the truck you hit. If you had hit a lower sitting vehicle with the same force Im betting the bags would have deployed...
...And yeah, Im thinkin its totalled but I could be wrong on that one. Theres a chance its fixable

That sucks! I'm glad your alright though ...Maybe mods can move this to the DIY section on how to properly clear your corners...j/k...If they total it are you gonna try to get the RS3 or find a used RS2?
This was my gradmothers car that I had borrowed 5 min before the accident.
The insurance company said I was not at fault since the other car involved left the scene.
They are not totaling it.
The damage looks worse than it really is.
About 8,000 in damage and my rs1 grill.
If anyone can find a Rs1 grill that would help alot.
