Murphys right. Doing the I/H/E upgrade will increase overall horse power which in turn would increase the gas mileage... however it also makes the car more fun to drive.

What you need to do first is drop the car, because lets face it, wheelgap surrports terrorism.

After that do the IHE. Put a nice set of wheels on the car (or buy the most gaudy ones that you can find, its youre choice, well just point and laugh) and call it done! all in all your looking to spend a grand...

so i read some of the posts, and now i have another set of questions:

1. What's an I/H/E upgrade, where can i get it done and how much will a good system cost? and im assuming that I/H/E stands for Intake/Horsepower/Exhaust?

2. How much will it cost to drop kit the car? cause i know a lift kit goes in between 2-6k

as far as pics i'll try and get some more up tommorow, for now, this is all i got

1. The H in I/H/E is for header. The xB only has ONE header. There are vendors in the sponsored sales section where you can find special pricing on some products and save some $$$.

2.Lowering the xB can be done with springs that are about $130 for Megan and $200+ for the rest offered(and better preferred) or you can step up to adjustable coilover setups start around $895 and go up. Do the install with a friend that's familiar with lowering vehicles to save you some $$$ and helps you to familiarize yourself with th car.

(Pricing info I just went to WeSellCarParts)

1. There is more than 1 header for the xB, just only one on the engine... felt that needed clarification

2. Lowering an xB can be done for under $100 if you get something from the classifieds here...

3. Thanks for your opinions

OP. Please learn how to resize pics

1. Yes there is more than one header offered for the xB. Just don't go around saying or posting "I'm looking for headers for my xB." It only comes with one.

2. True, if he chooses to go that route.

3. ORLY, you're welcome.
