Default Spawn of Mini-Van! PICS!

YES another "I just got my new xB" thread!
What can I say! I'm excited!

Got a 2005 Blue Onyx Pearl xB

Had to go to Waco twice from Austin, since my financing was here and I wanted to see the car before completing the financing (I'm old fashioned).
The car was for my wife to tote the kids around and to go to work (she logs 250 miles a week). Boy was it worth it all just to see the SMILE on her face!!

WARNING: FEMALE PICTURES--- KEEP IT CLEAN BOYS, SHE'S MARRIED!!

It's a bouncing baby Blue! Yes, now I drive the mini-van. Hey, wait a minute...

We got it bone-stock with cruise control and 6-cd changer option (free!).

Modest mods we plan:
- rear bumper applique
- Viper alarm
- Armrest (Toyota OEM one)
- cargo cover / floormats / cargo mat
- custom license plate frame -- still deciding on what it should say
- fog/rain lights
- (long term) 16" rims

I'm psyched too b/c we'll get the Boost gift and the $50 gift card eventually. Sorry to those who missed out on the Boost gift-- we only waited b/c we were hoping the '06s would come out with Salsa Red this month. But we're happy with our 2nd color choice!

I would not reccomend the stock cargo cover. I bought it and returnedit later that day. It is a thin piece of canvas, when you install it , it sags badly in the center. There are plenty of aftermarket ones that look, and work better. Or you could just build your own.

Looks great! Congratulations to you and the wife. Get the bumper applique done right away, as we didn't do that on our Prius. Didn't take long to put a nice nick in the paint, and touch up didn't help a lot. My dealer put the bumper app on my xB before I drove it off the lot,

It's the black design with the holes in it. Adds some texture to the xB's rear!
Twist wheels look very cool. Have not seen them on an xB yet here.

Congrats to the wife & kids and welcome to the Blue Onyx Cult! My 7th grader cannot wait until school starts so Dad can take her to school in my BOP xB.

She thinks that she'll be the coolest kid @ school!

That's one of the things we were thinking of putting on the custom license plate frame: "Mini Mini Van".

Incidentally, anyone have good / bad experiences with custom license plate frames? It's a cheaper, more custom option that getting the vanity plate.
