Hey, now, no dissing the mini! (You can make fun of him for driving a Chrysler product as much as you want! )

Congrats to the OP on the excellent color choice and the great timing (Boost, freebies, etc).

Yeah, it's given me nothing but grief! Finally paid off though!

The door locks are the biggest annoyance: when you unlock it with the fob, it locks as you pull on the driver handle! So I have to hit unlock, pull, hit unlock again, open.

We had a '96 Caravan that was the worst car we ever owned. It seemed like a good idea at the time, now I can't remember why. It was a great day when it got totalled and we replaced it with the xB.

The Mazda MPV, now, is another story. Our first one, a '90, is still going strong at 160k miles; we gave it to our sone now living in NC. We replaced it with the '92, which has also been a treat. Quick, agile, light on its feet, bigger inside than it looks, and very reliable, not bloated like the other minis have become.

I like minivans. As long as they're really "mini."

Factory OEM parts arrived last night from trdsparks.com. Took all of 90 min to install:

-- OEM armrest
-- Bumper Applique (scary work I tell you)
-- Floor mats (scotch guarded)
-- Cargo mat (scotch guarded)
-- Cargo cover

Yes, the cargo cover is flimsy, but if you just want it for privacy and not for installing speakers or something, then it's ok. I especially want to be able to fold it up and out of the way if I were to go to the store and get something big.

More mods planned:
-- rearview mirror w/ temp and compass
-- fog lights
-- blind spot mirrors (hard to find ones with metal backing instead of crappy black plastic backing)
-- Way to make cigarette lighter always on-- so we can charge cell phone while not in the car.
-- custom license plate from "mini MINIVAN"
-- 2-way Viper alarm

Will keep y'all posted!

Yes, it can-- sort of a robomech transformer.
It's from a video game from the 80s called Thexder! A very hard game! http://www.vintage-sierra.com/arcade/thexder.html

Trying to find a port of it to play on my PC now-- I have it on floppy but doesn' t work, too old. A port for my Palm would be even better!
Now let's stay OT before we get locked!
